Statements
of Faith from the Holy Bible
* Faith is the substance of things
hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained
a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed
by the Word of God...
(Hebrews 11:1-3)
* For therein is the righteousness
of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall
live by faith. (Romans 1:17)
* Even the righteousness of God which
is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all them that believe for there is
no difference. (Romans 3:22)
* Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation
through faith in His blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission
of sins that are past, through the forebearance of God. (Romans 3:25)
* Therefore, being justified by faith, we have Peace with God through
our Lord Jesus Christ. By whom also we have access by faith into this
grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. (Rom:
5:1-2)
* So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word
of God.
(Romans 10:17)
* God is faithful, by whom ye are called unto
the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ - our Lord. (1 Corinthians
1:9)
* That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but
in the power of God. (1 Corinthians 2:5)
* For by grace are ye saved
through faith; and that not of yourselves: It is the Gift of God:
NOT of works, lest any man should boast.(Eph: 2:8-9)
FOR PRAYER:
Be anxious
for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication
with thanksgiving
let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God which
passeth all understanding,
shall keep your hearts and minds through
Christ Jesus.
Finally, bretheren, whatsoever things are true,
whatsoever
things are honest, whatsoever things are just,
whatsoever things are
pure, whatsoever things are lovely,
whatsoever things are of good
report; if there be any virtue,
and if there be any praise, think
on these things. (Philippians: 4:6-8)
