"The Prophet said, 'On every Friday, the angels take
their stand at every gate of the mosques to write the names of the
people chronologically (i.e. according to the time of their arrival
for the Friday prayer) and when the Imam sits (on the pulpit) they
fold up their scrolls and get ready to listen to the sermon." (Sahih
Bukhari: Vol. 4, Book 54, No. 433)
11) Seeing a snake could cause
a pregnant woman to have an abortion:
"The Prophet ordered that
a short-tailed or mutilated-tailed snake (i.e. Abtar) should be killed,
for it blinds the on-looker and causes abortions."
(Sahih Bukhari:
Vol. 4, Book 54, No. 528)
12) The housefly should be dipped into
one's drink:
"The Prophet said, 'If a house fly falls into the
drink of anyone of you, he should dip it (in the drink), for one of
its wings has a disease and the other has the cure for the disease."'
(Sahih Bukhari: Vol. 4, Book 54, No. 537)
The few examples given
here are enough to give the reader an idea of the very questionable
teachings that are included within Islamic theology. It must
be noted that not all Muslim sects agree on the present day translations
of the Qur'an and Ahadith, however, the translations used for this
research are the most widely used today.
As mentioned in theForward portion of this publication, this work is not intended to
create animosity nor hatred toward innocent Muslim people who have
been prohibited from questioning the ideology that controls
their every move - each day of their lives. It is the hope of
this writer that they may find the True Peace and Freedom to worship
the God of Creation out of the sincere desire of their heart and not
out of obligation; For that is the only way one can communicate in
worship to the Almighty God.
"Peace I leave with you, my peace
I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not
your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
(John 14:27)
